The new NASA TARGET2 wind measurement system can do without any cable in the mast. The recipient unit assembled below deck gives the wind direction and speed to the Target2 display or any other NMEA0183 -compatible display, e.g. B. yours Card plotter, off. The recipient is supplied with voltage via the 12 V electrical system, the mast unit only requires light daylight temporarily to load the transmitter from the transmitter via the integrated solar cell. With fully charged battery, a operation of 2,000 hours is possible without reloading.
