Battery Life: Intelligent battery management
If the solar charging controller is not able to charge the battery within one day to its full capacity, the status of the battery constantly changes between "partially charged" and "end of the discharge".
This operating mode (no regular charging) damages a lead-acid battery within a few weeks or months.
The Battery Life Algorithm monitors the charging status of the battery and, if necessary, it increases the threshold every day to separate the load (i.e., the load is separated earlier) until the energy obtained is sufficient to charge the battery up to almost 100 %.
From this point, the threshold value for switching off the load is modulated, so that the charge is almost 100 % reached about once a week.
