Kontaktabdeckungen sind unverzichtbare Komponenten für die Elektroinstallation und Verkabelung, insbesondere wenn es darum geht, verschraubte Rohrkabelschuhe an Sammelschienen oder Batterieanschlussleitungen zu den Batteriepolen zu isolieren.

Durch die Abdeckung werden die Kontaktstellen nicht nur vor Korrosion und Verschmutzung geschützt und gewährleisten so eine längere sichere Verbindung, sondern es wird auch verhindert, dass durch eine zufällige Berührung von einem Werkzeug oder einem anderen leitenden Material ein Kurzschluss zwischen den Batteriepolen entsteht.
