Die Philippi ACE Ladegeräte entsprechen dem neuesten Stand der Ladetechnik für alle gängigen Batterietypen an Bord von Yachten oder Reisemobilen. Die Geräte bieten durch einen integrierten Ausgangsladestromverteiler Ladeausgänge für bis zu drei Batteriebänke.
Am Gerät kann aus 9 unterschiedlichen Ladekennlinien die optimale Anpassung an den Batterietyp gewählt werden. Mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Temperaturfühler passen die ACE-Ladegeräte die Ladespannung an die Batterietemperatur an.
Neben den Standard-Ladekennlinien bieten die Geräte einen Modus fürs Winterlager und eine Möglichkeit, das Gerät als Netzteil zu verwenden. Für die Batteriepflege gibt es eine Refresh-Funktion mit höherer Ladespannung.
Die ACE-Ladegeräte arbeiten mit sehr hoher Effizienz, sodass die kleinen 12V-Geräte mit 25A und 40A Ausgangsleistung sogar komplett ohne Lüfter auskommen. Durch die hohe Effizienz können die Ladegeräte bis 55 Grad Umgebungstemperatur die volle Leistung abgeben, sodass sie auch für einen Einsatz im Mittelmeer oder in den Tropen in Frage kommen.
Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die variable Eingangsspannung von 110-230V. So können die Philippi ACE Lader weltweit eingesetzt werden und es steht auch einem Betrieb z.B. in den USA nichts im Wege.
Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit, die Geräte über das P-BUS-System mit Batterie- und Tankmonitoren von Philippi zu überwachen und zu steuern. (Für die Modelle ACE 12/25, ACE 12/40 und ACE24/20 ist hierfür ein zusätzliches Interface erforderlich)
