Increased frequency and reliability of the transmissionThe V3100 AIS Class B uses the same technology as SOTDMA Class A solutions. This self-organizing technology transfer allows the system to other AIS units set a regular time slot for transmission within reach, making more frequent and more reliable position updates are made possible in heavy traffic areas. The V3100 transmits updates based on the speed of the ship up to once every five seconds, six times the frequency of reporting the standard AIS is Class B.Greater range of transmissionThe V3100 has a maximum transmission power of 5 watts, 2.5 times the transmission power of standard AIS solutions corresponds to class B. Thus, ships that are equipped with the V3100 are detected within a larger range over AIS and transfer to satellite-based AIS receiver is more reliable.Integrated "black box" solutionThis "black box" -ais solution is designed for use with Simrad multifunction displays and more NMEA 2000® or NMEA 0183® ports connected Marine electronic equipment. The transfer to a standard PC is supported with USB connectivity. The V3100 is housed in a compact waterproof case to IP67 and has an integrated SD card slot for the stand-alone AIS data logging.Key features- Improved performance compared to standard AIS Class B- transmission over longer distances with an output power of 5 watts- More frequent transmission of position updates with SOTDMA- Increased transmission reliability in heavy traffic areas- Integrated "black box" solution- NMEA 2000® ports, dual NMEA 0183® ports and connectivity via USB- Waterproof case according to IP67- Integrated SD card slot for AIS data logging
