The new NASA TARGET2 wind measurement system can do without any cable in the mast. The recipient unit assembled below deck gives the wind direction and speed to the Target2 display or any other NMEA0183 -compatible display, e.g. B. yoursCard plotter, off.The recipient is supplied with voltage via the 12 V electrical system, the mast unit only requires light daylight temporarily to load the transmitter from the transmitter via the integrated solar cell. With ten updates per second it shows even during rapid maneuvers, almost immediately any change in wind speed and direction. The TARGET2 WIND display included displays the apparent wind direction and speed. The mast unit is supplied complete with a mounting kit and a 20m long cable.
