NASA - ex -1 - exhaust gas temperature display

The ex-1 is used to continuously display the exhaust gas temperature in sea water-cooled exhaust systems and to warn when the temperature increases. The optical and acoustic alarm warns in excessive temperatures, which can lead to damage to the exhaust system and thus to fires or to leave toxic exhaust gases. The display is delivered entirely with a precision temperature sensor and connection cable to enable easy installation. The ex-1 measures the exhaust gas temperature directly in the exhaust and indicates it in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. As soon as the normal working temperature has been determined, a temperature value that lies a few degrees higher than alarm threshold can be programmed. The alarm is triggered as soon as this temperature value is exceeded.Even a low level of temperature can indicate a potential problem, such as a partial constipation, a leakage or a failure of the cooling water pump, that it can be remedied in good time before greater damage occurs. The ex - 1 display device is not waterproof and must therefore be installed in a dry area!- Compact dimensions (WXHXT): 125 x 62 x 23 mm- Contrastful LC display- Electricity recording <1.5 MA- Supply current voltage 8 to 15 V DC- Sensor with a 5m connection cable in the scope of delivery-Temperature range -35 to +170 ° C (-31 to +338 ° f)
