Die Gleichstrom-Spannungswandler von Philippi erlauben den sicheren Betrieb von 12-Volt-Verbrauchern an einem 24-Volt-Bordsystem. Durch ihren Einsatz lässt sich die Installation einer separaten 12-Volt-Batterie oder die batterieschädigende Entnahme einer Teilspannung von Batteriebänken vermeiden.
