Eine AIS-Antenne dient als Empfangs- und Sendeeinheit speziell für AIS Daten und ist daher auf den entsprechenden Frequenzbereich optimiert. AIS Antennen sind daher nicht für den normalen UKW-Sprechfunk geeignet.

Splitter bzw. Weichen sind Geräte, die es ermöglichen, eine einzige AIS-Antenne für mehrere AIS-Empfänger oder eine einzige UKW-Antenne für Sprechfunk und AIS-Gerät zu verwenden. Sie fungieren als Verteiler, der das Signal von der Antenne aufteilt und an die verschiedenen Empfänger sendet.

Außerdem haben wir noch verschiedene Kabel zur Verbindung der Geräte miteinander sowie externe GPS-Antennen im Sortiment, die das AIS Gerät mit genaueren Positionsdaten als etwaige interne GPS-Sensoren versorgen.
